On my birthday in mid September we took a little trip to Wackerstein – a lookout in midst of the northwestern escarpment of the Swabian Jura, where I used to take day trips to with my friends a few years ago. The path up there leads through a beautiful beech forest and past rocks covered with little flowers. After a half hour hike, you end up at a little clearing with a stone fire pit, and when you walk a little further and leave the woods, this is what the view looks like.
