The iPhone SE was originally released on March 31, 2016, which makes it over a decade old, and it was discontinued September 12, 2018. It has an apple A9 chip, 2gb of ram, and this specific phone here has 64 gb of storage.

At one point, my mom used this phone, then after that she got a new phone and it has been left in a drawer for years. Therefore, it went from my moms main phone, to being left in a drawer for years, to now being restored by me.

It stopped being used bc it was stuck on the apple logo forever whenever it was boot up.

Whenever I plugged it into my computer previously, it would always either give some sort of connection related error or my computer would just shut off in the middle of the process. (bc thats just how my laptop was, its better now but still planning to get a new one soon)

However once I had a decent cable and my computer wasn't doing so bad, I got ios 15.8.8 on this thing. It already had no os (I had already erased the os itself which was probably corrupted anyways) and therefore I just used some cool ass software to get ios 15 onto this thing and it WORKED and now after years I got this thing working

The battery health is at 76% (NOT THE CURRENT BATTERY CHARGE, BUT BATTERY HEALTH AS IN HOW MUCH OF THE ORIGINAL CAPACITY IT CAN HOLD) which is pretty good for this thing's conditions.

Everything still works perfectly fine, also it has a HEADPHONE JACK BABY!!!

Anyways here are some of the things on it. First of all, it's very funny to me how settings says "coverage expired" bc like NO SHIT THIS PHONE IS 10 YEARS OLD. Second of all, it still has the "exposure notifications" from covid, which is pretty nostalgic to see in 2026.

Anyways I like this little phone and I will definitely be using it as a secondary device and mp3 player cuz HEADPHONE JACK LETS GO
