Project 27: Self-Portrait - something new

When I started thinking about this prompt, I was trying to come up with a clever way to interpret it that was catered to my strengths, but the more I thought about it, the more I wanted to do a literal self portrait. Now— as you might be able to tell— I don’t do a whole lot of traditional art. Even more so, I’ve never done digital painting with a tablet… ever.

I wanted to make sure I wasn’t getting complacent in my work, relying only on my existing skills— so I considered it a bit of a challenge to myself to push, grow, learn, & share in areas I’ve never explored before… Even if they aren’t very polished just yet :)

I definitely learned a lot & I hope you like it! 

Also, I should probably shave.
