Leaf just smiled cheekily as Green began rambling about how annoying she is. The girl felt pretty damn proud of herself when he went on about her being able to get under his skin and beat him in battles.

But Leaf REALLY didn’t expect what Green had to say next.

He...found it hot that she could kick his ass...and he’s been wanting to kiss her?

The brunette felt her face turn a bright red; her hands nervously gripped at her bag’s strap as she fidgeted slightly. What...What was she supposed to say to that? She asked this as a joke.

Leaf felt her heart thud harder and faster, beautiflies stirring in her stomach. The girl was bad with romantic emotions, she hated how dumb it made her especially with Green...

“I-I..” she squeaked before clearing her throat to try and play off the sudden high pitched tone of voice. “Heh, I um..Guess it’s only fair if I say how I feel too...”

“I find you unbearably annoying as well but I can’t help but love that about you because you give me a challenge. I love to annoy you because no one else teases you back and I find your reactions hysterical. I love being able to get you to blush because I think you’re really cute, even though you can be a jerk. But sometimes you say shit that makes me want punch you in your face b-but then snatch you by your collar and kiss you hard. I call you an idiot, but not in a bad way because you’re my idiot and I wouldn’t want i-it any other way because...” Leaf paused, biting her lip.

The girl wrapped her arms around her sides and gripped her shirt. Is she really fucking saying this!? Leaf couldn’t look at Green anymore and forced her gaze to the ground.

“Arceus d-dammit, because I LIKE you. Okay--!? I-I have for a long time. I think you’re cute, I think you’re hot. I love you’re cheeky attitude and that stupid smirk you always have.” Leaf sighed, feeling almost out of breath and also as if she were going to puke. “Ugh..I..Said a little t-too much..” she muttered to herself.

“Yeah, I know you are. Though, that venusaur knows to drag you back to me. He’s done it before.” the father hummed. “Oh, of course it won’t be a problem. I’ve always liked you and that Red-kid. Just keep it that way, okay son?”

Mamoru gave another husky laugh, roughly patting the boy on his back. “Though, that wasn’t what I wanted to talk about.” he said quietly, all traces of cheer leaving his tone.

“Wanna tell me why my daughter ran from me for five towns over when I found marks all over her neck?” he asked. “You haven’t been ‘fooling around’ with her, have you..?” he asked before adding, “Not that you two getting busy is bad. I mean, you’re both young and of age...”
