Not really a question per Se, just wanted to let you know it made me ridiculously happy that you recommended the recent X-23 run by Marjorie Liu et al. I was almost inconsolably sad when it got cancelled. Seriously, how great was that run?!
Thanks. I really wish more people had picked up the series. There were some great moments in it and the last issue was fantastic.
In non "cape" comics, who in your opinion are the best female characters?
Good question. Hmmm, Snow from Fables and Tara Chace from Queen and Country come to mind. Oh and Francine and Katchoo. I'm sure there are others I'm not thinking of. I'm also excited about Dr. Lee Archer from Scott Snyder's The Wake.
My LCS recently bought a huge collection of DC singles from circa 2002-2009. I'm going to be purchasing 3 major runs, Rucka's Wonder Woman and Batwoman runs, and the Palmiotti/Gray/Conner Power Girl run. In which order should I buy these, assuming I'm working my way to the best one?
I'd start with Power Girl. It's a fun series. I'd move on to Batwoman which quality wise is equal to Wonder Woman but is shorter. Then go into Wonder Woman is which is a longer run. Honestly, all three are terrific - you got youself some good comics.
