Hi! I really love your drawings! If I may ask, what got you into shipping Hilda and Frida?
It’s been awhile since my last rewatch but I think it was mostly cause they’re cute together. They’re friends for sure but they also have a lot of respect for each other. Hilda likes how smart and organized Frida is (tho’ does complain when it gets in the way of adventure), while Frida admires how brave and loyal Hilda is (again, does complain at times when it seems illogical to go into danger). And that’s before Hilda became Frida’s witch familiar and so now they’re bonded even moreso then just regular “best friends”. Hilda is impressed and loves seeing Frida cast magic, seeing how more adventurous she’s become since studying magic. Not to mention the Witch’s Tower ep where the two were “a witch and her knight” coded.
In general I mostly just think it’s a cute ship
