For Rani Banjarian, who hails from Beirut, Lebanon, differences are what make him feel a part of Vanderbilt. “I’ve definitely been very much given the space and opportunity to be unabashedly myself here,” said Banjarian, a physics-creative writing double major who also sings with the Melodores.
