i think the biggest problem with hazbin hotel and to a lesser extent helluva boss isn't the fact that there's so much red everywhere but rather that there's so litte vlalue contrast that everything is fighting for your attention basicaly all the time
when blackbeard told the crew story of him seeing a kraken killing his father then the whole episode turned into how to stage a good story with fear and then it’s revealed he was the kraken and him carrying this image of blackbeard he never killed a man since his father storytelling a story is true a story is untrue
