While driving to our shared destination, @s-b-york and I did some antique shopping/thrifting. I asked them to keep an eye out for some things for me and I kept my eyes peeled for things they were searching for--I didn't have any luck, but they came across a Leopard furby in a box. It didn't have a price tag, but it looked nice in the photos so I asked them to get a price check for me and I'd pay them back if it was reasonable.

Y'all. They wanted $45 for it. It wasn't NIB, the box was beaten up and was basically just there to be there. The shop owner apparently was also snarky with some comment along the lines of "Our vendors are VERY knowledgeable and know what their items are worth. They do a lot of research."

Needless to say, I do not have a new furby.

Has anyone customized a Koby? Is it basically like customizing a Furby? I’m highkey thinking about getting one, but I’m curious if you can change out the eyechips and skin them in the same way as a regular furb.

This egg is truly phenomenal. I don't know why someone decided that a m.onkey with a violin was perfect to paint on it, but I love them for it.

I'm trying to talk myself out of it, but I may need it. Ever since I first laid eyes upon it, it plagues my waking thoughts.
