Megan Pekich is a marketing professional who has worked in the information technology industry for decades, including a stint at VMware Inc., a major software company providing cloud computing and virtualization services. VMware has an extensive partner program that fosters connections with technology solution providers, research and education programs, consulting partners, corporate resellers, and others. The company is committed to technical expertise and provides a number of accreditation and certification programs to IT sales professionals in its partner network, including the VTSP or VMware Technical Sales Professional certification.  VTSP is an online curriculum that helps sales professionals get acquainted with foundational pre-sales technical training in VMware products through a series of self-paced informational modules. It helps partners identify the key technical features, strengths, and benefits of VMware solutions and also provides basic grounding in how to guide customers through installing and evaluating VMware products. VTSP certified individuals are better equipped to demonstrate how to apply these products and answer technical questions from customers.
