They have eight children together.
Anyway! AR Director Miyya, head of the Inquest Ethics Committee, and her on-again-off-again lover Manager Vroqq, the overseer of the Liquidators. This popped into my head this morning and would not leave.

I'll draw him later, but in the meantime, here's Manager Vroqq of the liquidators.
Incorrect Quotes, Round 2
(This one is genuinely just pre-relationship when Rissia was doing all the flirting jfkdlsjfklds.)
And some bonuses.
What's Miyya's relationship history with Vroqq? How was he with their progeny? Why do they keep coming back to each other specifically? (Why are they both still alive? (Who's gonna go first?))
I can't find that post that's like "they're divorced they're happily married they hate each other they're madly in love they keep trying to kill each other they can't keep away from each other" but that's genuinely Vroqq and Miyya's relationship.
Beyond that, I think they wind up back together each time because there's a genuine passion in how much they hate each other. They're both brilliant individuals, too, even if their minds are heavily turned towards cruelty. And each time it ends poorly, especially for any progeny involved.
Interestingly enough, Vroqq is oddly fond of Praxxi. He doesn't keep in touch with her, but she is the singular exception he makes with sending his liquidators after high profile targets.
I think the only reason the two of them are still alive, and haven't managed to kill each other, is they recognize the importance they each have to the Inquest as an organization, and also realize if one of them killed the other, the High Inquisitors would DEFINITELY figure it out immediately.
Someday I may develop some of the kids Vroqq experimented on, but I don't really have any ideas as of right now.
At least one of them died as a result of the experimentation, though.

The Inquest Liquidators
The liquidators are a special division of the Inquest. While its members are middling in rank, usually on the same level as higher level researchers under overseers, they have a very special purpose: unlike assassins, they specifically focus on members of the Inquest that have abandoned their post, typically at the behest of the Ethics Committee.
Of course, the liquidators aren't just called in for any breech of contract, no. Liquidators focus their attention on deserters who have done something particularly egregious, such as killing other faculty members or giving away Inquest secrets on their departure.
A liquidator's job is listed simply as "providing a pink slip," which really is alleviating a deserter of their life. They are trained killers, good at their jobs, and both respected and feared in the megakrewe.
Led by the bitterly cold Manager Vroqq, he often works in lockstep with Miyya of the Ethics Committee.
I don't know much yet but the head of the Liquidators is named Vroqq, he and Miyya have three kids together but absolutely hate each other, and their kids all agree they one HUNDRED percent should NOT be within 500 feet of each other.
They still hook up from time to time to everyone's detriment.
I'll think more abt the liquidators later since I have one but I think liquidators themselves aren't particularly highly ranked, but as their boss, Vroqq has a lot of respect and authority.
