I accidentally deleted the old post info like a dummy π€¦ββοΈ instead of reblogging with update, so I have to type all this again
But yeah, my virtual photography was stolen and put on Streamily platform for sale and to be autograph by Leonardo Santaiti, Illario's VA. This was done without my knowledge or consent. I only found out about it when my good friend @primnosemc recognized it and told me. She also found her VP shots there too, taken without her knowledge.
Print of my VP. They cropped out my watermark.
Autographed Illario Council - Dragon Age signed by Leonardo Santaiti

Originally I though it was some fan who stole it and submitted it to platform as their own work, but it looks like submissions haven't even happened yet and after some info Prim got it looks like it might me the case that Streamily themselves took those. Which is even worse! Fans reposting smth stolen from someone else is bad enough, but when a company steals your creative work for monetary gain and sale without you having a clue that is whole other level of scummy!
I reached out to them and waiting for some sort of reply and resolution but be mindful of Streamily! Know that art/photos VA's are signing on stream, and that you are buying from them, might be stolen from someone! π‘
If you are an artist in the fandom that paints, or does VP, or renders, check Streamily to make sure your work wasn't stolen as well.
The theft and level of disrespect towards digital artists that goes on online is absolutely disgusting. I wish people would start treating every form of digital art with same respect they treat physical art!
