snORK mimimimimimmi.... sNORK Mimimimimi.....
Got them all! Turns out the best way to get them agreeable is to Perch.
Imagine opening the door and finding Amelia that wants to sell you vacuum cleaners like any other Vorwerk representative. What a mystical vision. 😂🤣
THEY HAVE ARRRRIIVED.
MY BABIES.
MY PEEP PEEPS.
My sweet little vorwerk babies.
Currently around a week old there are six vorwerk bubs in here, I believe four to be girls. I’m so excited to see em grow :D
For all my iz buddies I have to apologise for the lack of updates, I’ve already worked 40 hours this week and today was my day off which I spent driving 3 hours for chickens x.x
But it’s worth it, for bapies.

An ode to Vorwerks.
I love vorwerks, they’re a heritage German breed in a beautiful orange color with big red combs and white ears. They’re very pretty birds, and quite friendly. Unfortunately... when my seven came to me, one was very ill and I lost it on the first night. The others were doing okay until they started to develop signs of a respiratory illness. I believe they were carriers before they came to me, and that sort of illness is quick spreading. Over the course of many weeks a lot of my birds became ill, so much that I had to cull several of them myself- something I’d never had to do before, and still get upset over when I think of it- and of the seven Vorwerks, I have none, the last one passed only two days ago. As well as them I lost pipsqeuaks sibling, my wheaten maran- Margaret- my rosecomb hen, and I’m still dealing with illness amongst the flock.
I love Vorwerks so much, but I don’t think I could deal with having them again after that experience.
a good little flock of lowpoly chickens
