Volunteer Requirements?
Today I had this conversation with someone interested in volunteering:
Guy on the phone: "So, I see here on your website that it says volunteers must be 21 or older to work with you guys."
Me: "Yes, that's right."
Guy: "Well, I was wondering if that was actually the case. You see, I have a bunch of middle schoolers who want to do a volunteer project, and I thought you guys might be a good fit."
Me: .........?
Me: "I'm sorry, I'm afraid we do, in fact, require all volunteers to be 21, but thank you for your interest."
Guy: "Oh ok, I just thought I'd call and see if that was a real thing or not."
