I discovered this in my drafts, I think it was written after Season 7 came out on a reflection of the fandom:
In less than a week after Voltron Season 7 the fandom has gone, or is going through, the five stages of grief.
Denial that what happened happened, and still trying to prove and hope certain things will still happen.
Anger at what has occurred due to many feeling injustice for certain things.
Possibly Bargaining now with people trying to make a New Reboot.
Maybe Depression has happened? Or it will happen eventually when people have accepted that what was in Season 7 occurred and possibly face facts of how things will end.
Accept what has happened and how it has affected you, and how you will move on and learn from it.
First post of my VLD streak : I don’t know if someone already did this, so...

Season 7, episode 10 :
character development.
Voltron was Gutted by Management
One of my favorite shows recently ended with a terrible, and I do mean TERRIBLE ending to a great story. The final season of this show does not make sense story-wise, has too many obvious cuts, and out of character moments. Overall this upset the audience and sent a message that I do not think was intended by the show's creative team. The show's final season was likely gutted and botched thanks to executive meddling, which sadly I've seen happen before to a great story. I get sick of seeing bad writing or someone else telling a creative what to do with their story. But this has taught me something in the last week of battling my anger and heartbreak over this:
Don't let someone else push your creative vision in a direction that's not healthy for the audience or yourself as a creative. Creative control is very important, probably more than ever.
And if something isn't right, say something. Believe it or not, as the audience or as a fan, you do have the power to change something. And contrary to what some think, the audience isn't stupid.
