Ride in the Rain Winter Update
2016 brings the five year anniversary of my barn Parkside, what a wild ride it has been! Lots of hard work, and very rewarding, too. We have a great bunch of horses and riders in the barn. I have an exciting new training challenge -- my first horse and rider Endurance team! There are some fun sales projects in the works, and I have lots of fun four year olds to ride every day, including my own Dutch Warmblood ‘Townmouse’ who is preparing for his first show season. Pip is on track to make her Training level Eventing debut in the Spring, and I have high hopes for her.
Voltaire Design has agreed to a Sponsorship and I am awaiting two fully custom frou frou French saddles. I am a steadfast supporter of used saddles but I have some very tricky to fit horses in training. I hope Voltaire is up to the task! Their local rep Lindsey Spurgeon was very professional and knowledgable during the fitting. I can’t wait to see what we end up with.
The rest of the Winter brings on more Jumpernites at Donida, and clinics including Leslie Law and Lucinda Green. We also look forward to once again hosting my coach Tami Masters for lessons on Vashon.
