back at it again with another subpar graphic and a request!! this time for a group of old high school friends reuniting for the wedding of a certain, ellie knight. pulled back together from new jobs, relationships, homes and more - they find themselves back once more on familiar ground, navigating the murky waters of relationships left untouched for ten or so years.Â
back in high school they were a bit of the golden kids - perfect, enviable, popular and it was probably near impossible to penetrate their little bubble. were they a little too codependent and attached to each other? probably. did that lead to a fuck load of complications and messiness towards the end of it? absolutely. i donât want to dictate way too much but i figure they were probably on shaky ground once graduation happened - either if because of a group dynamic that had changed (a couple breaking up, some casual cheating??? a bad argument that forced them to choose sides???) or because the reality of going to colleges on the opposite side of the country. either way, by the time most of them settled into college - things just .... sort of naturally fell off. calls started to go unanswered, it took longer and longer to back to each other about meet ups, and they made way for new friends that left their old ones in the figurative dust.
 fast forward about ten or so years and things arenât what they were back in high school anymore and the people coming back arenât quite who they were when they left. still, despite new lives, relationships and more they are pulled back together by the wedding of probably the last person on earth theyâd ever thought would get married. as you can imagine, with this group it doesnât take long for old wounds to get reopened, past habits to flare up and maybe just a little bit of the comfort they had when they were all together. as can be expected, some could be super successful while others have found it harder to break out into the job market. some could have stayed away from portland while others could have come back and made new lives for themselves. whatever it is, theyâre probably not ready for the shit show that will inevitably be stirred up.
now i know typically in these sorts of request the bride and groom are played by someone but since i want us to have more control over the events of the wedding (which will feature ellie booking it down the aisle and out of the chapel + everyone sticking around to eat the after party food bc its there anyway + hilarity). other than that, iâve got some simple requirements here - 27+ (though i figure most of them are on the 28-30 range) and an even ratio ya dig. iâll cap this around 8 probs, though could wiggle up to 10 if necessary.Â

raised by a single mother, in a ridiculously poor household, with no father to speak of. got bullied pretty badly as a kid, so he learned to fight back when necessary. sweet, but scrappy. never had a lot of friends, but was always content to watch from the outside or tag along with someone who recruited him. constantly chain smokes - but not in an angsty way, just in an i grew up in a bad neighborhood and got peer pressured into smoking at 14 kind of way. lives for other people really, is very much the protector of the people he loves. will absolutely, without a doubt, without hesitation, get into a fist fight if you look at his people the wrong way. an idealist to a fault. somehow wound up being an orderly/uap in a nursing home and heâll complain about it if you do but he fucking loves those old people. super self-sufficient and would basically rather die than ask for help. the first thing he stole was a belt from tj maxx when he was 15, and he hasnât stopped since - itâs his way of rebelling, and heâs convinced heâll never get caught, but doesnât everyone? currently, heâs coasting - heâs happy, but coasting, waiting for something to happen in his life that probably wonât.Â
needs / if you have a friend group he could plausibly fit in please hmu with a link or an idea or something! i can really see him fitting in with any type of people, itâs just whether those people see him and pick him out and say âhey! be my friend!â. he needs one more of his step-siblings (though i doubt they refer to each other as anything but brother and sister because theyâre genuinely thick as thieves ok). other than that, i think he could use some exes, some girls he slept with and fell in love with instantly and got rejected, some puppy dog crushes, etc.Â
everything and every place is temporary, but he hasnât quite managed to shake memories of a past love. heâs gentle, soft-spoken, unselfconscious, and quick with a wide, boyish grin orâ if he considers you a friendâ a bear hug. but, as affable as liam is, the closer you get to him the more youâll realize you donât know anything substantial about him.Â
