Overall opinion of the game: I don't love the art style so I didn't play at all for a while. None of the characters stood out to me after the prologue, either. I do really like an MC who can kick butt, but it's not one of my favorite games.

Overall opinion of the game: I'm looking forward to seeing the fan reactions to see if it's worth my money, but right now I'm not ready to spend yet!

I’d recommend watching the original version at some point even if you decide to just start watching SMC, since it really was very well done. Well, as long as you watch the subbed version, the dubbed version was heavily edited and pretty badly butchered. For one example, they changed the show’s only openly lesbian couple into cousins, basically making it look like incest. Huh.
