character in general: Oh, goodness... I gush about Dr. Gaster quite frequently, given the chance! Realistically, relating to the game, I know he's a very minuscule, even ignorable facet of the Undertale experience- But out here in the roleplay community, such supposedly "blank slate" characters really burst to life. In theory, I love Dr. W. D. Gaster just fine as he is, strictly speaking game content... But without such phenomenal writers out here in the blogosphere, all he would be to me is another fun fact; a pixelly curiosity brought up in nothing more than an occasional "did you know?" conversation. I love... Dr. Gaster. (In theory.)how they play them: I can't say I have ever come across a poorly written Gaster muse, and for good reason! To want to play a character with so little canon content that they're literally just a funny easter egg- That takes a lot of filling in holes and, mutually, creativity! It's obvious that Gaster roleplayers put a lot of love and thought into their muses, and voliition is no exception. Unique even among the unique, this one plays phenomenally on all facets of their muse:The blog is themed beautifully from a desktop view, (although a bit difficult to traverse from mobile/iPad, though that's certainly no fault of their own! Perhaps allowing links to their important pages to be viewable from mobile would be more convenient, however,) and the posts follow suit. Beautiful icons, beautiful formatting, all coming together into a well thought-out aesthetic. The words they choose to define things are just as carefully planned, and I love dearly their action posts as much as their undernet ones! Suffice to say, I'm both awed and enamoured. 💞the mun: Goddd. I haven't spoken with them yet... Admittedly, despite there being a literal paragraph or two asking otherwise on their rules page, I find myself a bit daunted by their b-e-a-uuutiful way of writing and communicating... Funny enough, it's also one of my favorite things about them, so more than anything I'm sure it's just because I'm shy! Truthfully they seem like a sweetheart, and from what I've seen they're an awfully supportive part of the community and more than willing to accept a little friendly conversation!
follow them?: ABSOLUTELY??? If it wasn't obvious by now, I have a small case of star-eyes over here. What a neat blog!rp with them?: Unfortunately not.want to rp with them?: A part of me says yes, unabashedly, wholeheartedly, ecstatically "yes!" But I think we should talk first... 💦 I'm a bit worried about my ability to format things in threads, and I'm scared that'll really put a dent in the possibility of threading successfully. Granted, face-to-face/paragraph format posts hardly ever happen, and trimming isn't such a big issue on it's own! But I can't carry over icons, for example- I'm on my phone all the time, and copying images is nigh impossible from here. Not to mention that the sheer amount of HTML it takes to format longer, more complex responses so they display well on MY blog as they do on my partner's is extremely exhausting. ): Still! Perhaps some day, even if we never get around to formally roleplaying in thread formats, we could at least talk about what a cool character W. D. Gaster is!
overall opinion?: What an inspiring blog! My goodness. Few individuals inspire me so much to strive for better organization. I love how eloquent they are across every visible facet of their appearance...And most of all, I hope they're doing well every time I'm fortunate enough to see them in my notifs or on my dashboard!
