So, what do we know about the void?

The void is a form of nature, not a god but formerly worshiped nontheless.

It's located everywhere when you dig deep enough, it's like our earths core. The reason why so deep down is because of the darkness it brings.

I think it has two things composing it

Void fluid and void tendrils

The void fluid is probably what makes it so the silk in silksong get the void quality, the void tendrils seem to be only the inhabitans, like fish in water.

Void tendrils do not always lie deep in the void but are near its surface also!

The void tendrils may be more hostile than the void liquid but since we see in the godhome ending cutscene and dive sequence in silksong it may be also harmful.

Void can be molded into several thing ranging from the wingmolds to the collector. That's probably because it "likes" to possess living bugs, that's why it uses grandmothers silks silk and possess lace

That's why it is easily molded into form and turns the babies of the pale king and white lady into the vessels we know. But it still hates to be contained(?)

For the hating to be contained, i don't know on that one! In the kings workshop the containers are hard and indestructable, while by silksong the weavers put it into a jar and it's not complaining that much!

So it may hate to be not be in control?

The reason why our favourite void creatures (vessels, those crawler things and more) aren't here because this is purely about the void, not about creatures out of void (the shades and the siblings) nor the bugs that culture have that (snail charmens)
