моя любовь - my love
“That’s right…see how the noodles look soft and glossy? That’s how do you know it’s done.”
The stove is turned off, and Natasha pours her hard work into a bowl, and they sit at the counter together.
“This feels a little sad to be this proud of making…instant noodles,” Natasha says, half excited the kitchen didn’t burn down and half glum that it’s just instant noodles.
Her girlfriend can make such lovely dishes and she…can burn water.
“Don’t worry too much about it, моя любовь,” Wanda giggles, brushing Natasha’s hair softly behind her ear. “Next time, I’ll even teach you how to cook an egg with it.”
Wanda thinks it’s cute that Natasha can’t cook, even if her eyebrows suffered two months ago.
It’s endearing and soft.
It’s about 3 AM, and they’re the only two in the kitchen. It’s quiet other than the soft slurps of Natasha eating her noodles.
Wanda watches her girlfriend with a smile, head resting in her hand against the counter. Underneath the table, their feet swing slightly, brushing against each other, and Natasha tries to hide her grin as she eats.
They sit in comfortable silence as Wanda taps her finger pads on the table to a made-up tune in her head. Natasha finishes and puts the bowl into the dishwasher.
“Sleep?” Natasha asks as she takes hold of Wanda’s hand into hers. Since it’s late and bedtime, Wanda had taken her rings off, and Natasha liked to feel the smoothness of her girlfriend’s bare fingers.
“Hm, maybe you should wait for the food to digest,” Wanda tilts her head.
“Maybe some bedroom activities will help,” Natasha smirks and leers at Wanda, who laughs.
“Maybe not. Wouldn’t want you to get a cramp,” Wanda teases as they enter their shared bedroom.
Natasha groans, pulling her girlfriend into her arms, wrapping her arms around Wanda’s waist as Wanda throws her arms around Natasha’s neck.
“God, that was one time, and it was a leg cramp, let it go!”
