fitness test with all the gear
Garmin says my VO2max is pretty decent. Not sure the accuracy of this data but I will take it. While we are on the topic, did you know dogs are “among nature’s most elite endurance athletes,” as suggested by the authors of a recent paper in the Journal of Experimental Biology? My VO2 max is highly correlated with the temperature. Since my watch gets the weather it’s surprising that they can’t use that as a factor in fitness scores. It makes me sad when I see my training status as unproductive.
