A quick share before I, a) finish my beer, b) grab a quick shower to wash the retardant and smoke off of me. Crazy day all around with multiple new fires adding to those already burning this causing more than what anyone would consider a fair share of havoc. Many resources hit the new Mission Fire at Cascadel hard - one of the many air attack assets brought to bare was the Global SuperTanker 747 T-T-944 VLAT (Thinking should be a VVLAT... or a HAT, Huge Air Tanker). This drop was just before 5pm and another was, I believe, much closer to 7pm (one of, if not the, last fixed wing drop on this incident for the day). #missionfire #supertanker #VLAT #wildfire (at Cascadel Woods, California)
