Film/Video
It’s Nice That - Art director Neil Krug has directed a hypnotic and scenic new video for Break Apart by Bonobo. The video is released in the run-up to the upcoming Bonobo album Migration out 13 January on Ninja Tune records.
Neil, who has previously created artwork for Lana Del Rey, Boards of Canada and Tame Impala, has captured a mystifying breadth of landscape using drones. The overhead footage is of desert locations that have inspired the new album’s imagery, which Neil has also created.
On the locations featured Simon Green, who goes by the pseudonym Bonobo, says: “Part of the writing process was to drive up to these places and live with tracks as I was making them. This was a new part of the world to me, where the landscape is quite alien and Martian.”
