how do you picture apartments and houses book characters live in?
is it something new and unique every time you start a new book? like you build a new place from scratch, adding new details as they get uncovered
or
do you have a number of pre made options your brain randomly chooses to be the place a character lives in? i mean some places you’ve been before or well familiar with
or
maybe it’s something entirely different. either way tell me
because i’m the second one. my brain just picks something and uses it as decoration. for example, i tend to picture my friends’ apartment in a lot of cases. and it frustrates me because it’s never something new, i only have 8 different places i picture every time i read a book.
