Visual collision
"He and I collided, like two predestined stars - and in that brief exchange, I felt what it was like to be immortal."- Lang Leav
It was a busy elevator…I jumped in first while you lounge at the lobby. An uneventful morning where my head just wants to breathe from the suffocation of the daily grind…
The lift opened at the 7th floor…there you were on the other side…I was brave enough to look at you straight in the eye…your beautiful windows. There wasn’t much to say as the lift started to close…
It felt like forever…I heard a loud bang along with some burst of colors. It felt warm and I see sparkles around…
It was a brief encounter but I almost drift into forever. I felt immortal…endless…
Then everything was silent…all there's left was the hushed chatter of frustration and my racing heart. I stepped out and you were there…silhouette fleeting in the dark…much like my heart sinking slowly in the pit of despair for I know that the moment of my immortality will only be that visual collision…when your eyes met mine…
