I ask myself every day and night why drawing is so hard. It is an eternal struggle. I also have a bunch of stuff I need to draw but I do things like this instead because apparently I hate myself. And who needs money when you hate yourself, right? HAHAHAHA god I’m so broke

I also wish I drew my characters more than once because no one ever recognizes my ocs unless they’re insane. There is no consistency with anything I do this is ridiculous

ANYWAY these two are joshua huynh and vissor (pronounced vis-soar) and they’re neighbors/classmates who have been bffs since they were little. Joshua is a pasty ass goth-looking kid who’s a necromancer and vissor comes from a family of cannibalistic demons that work under summons (i.e. if someone desires a truly gruesome and painful death for whoever then they summon one of these flesh eating demons, negotiate a contract, then the super fun viscera carving party begins).

vissor is ridiculously in love with josh but he’d sooner chew off his own arm than admit it because he’d die before putting his friendship with them in jeopardy. He’s accepted his feelings a long time ago but he’s still completely sure that falling in love with his best friend was incredibly stupid and if he could have helped it then… he’d still probably fall in love anyway because joshua is so important to him and it’s unsurprising that they’d become even more important to him in this way

sometimes vissor entertains the idea that josh might accept his feelings and even return them (more often than he’d like) but the risk that joshua would end up uncomfortable and put a strain on their friendship isn’t something he wants to gamble on.

as little kids basing the start of their friendship on a shared favorite color (red, obviously) to being older kids in high school that carved a fixture in each other’s lives through years of sleepovers, secrets, jokes, fights, and dark magic (mostly joshua), vissor always wants to put this deep emotional bond of brothers they share before his own dumb desires for anything more. Or something. Vissor gets weirdly Shounen Protagonist Passionate about this
