Watamu is one of those typical small Kenyan🇰🇪 beach towns, sandwiched between Malindi in the North and Mombasa further South. It features long stretches of powdery white sand, some beautiful bays with cool rock formations and blue clear water moving slowly in an out with the tides. Here I see so far the most amount of Mzungu (white people) during my now almost 3 weeks in Kenya. Good thing is, you can find accommodation from very stylish and very expensive to very basic and simple, but still expensive 🤣. Kenya really isn't a cheap holiday destination for beach combers🏖️ anymore.
