One of my most memorable Food and Wine Pairings happened to be at Springfontein Eats set on the Springfontein farm. Eats is operated by the formidable team of Jurgen & Susanne Schneider who hail from Germany where Jurgen enjoyed consistent Michelin recognition for 18 years. Eats is a phenomenal experience, the perfectly plated dishes are splendidly paired with estate wines. The menu changes and is comprised of home grown and foraged herbs, vegetables and locally sourced fish and meats. A visit to Springfontein Eats is highly recommended as is enjoying their wine.
