Have you seen @petermckinnon’s ‘Bucket Shot’ film on @YouTube? It really made me think about what my bucket list photos are, after thinking about it for a couple of weeks now I still don’t know if I really have any. But living in North East Scotland so close to so many spectacular castles, historic sites & fantastic architecture maybe I’m taking for granted places that would be right at the top of many bucket lists. Dunnottar Castle is someplace I’ve been a fair few times it’s only quarter of an hour from both my home & office. Every time I’ve gone there I’ve seen other people taking photos on everything from disposable cameras to smartphones & full on professional DSLR cameras. Each of these photographers might have been photographing what’s probably Scotland’s most spectacular castle for the first time after it sat right at the top of their list for an age. I’ve been finding the #365challenge (it’s day 107) quite difficult the past wee while, that’s probably due to me trying to push myself to find new places to visit & take photos. Maybe taking another look at things closer to home is the key to filling a whole year with photographs. #dunnottar #dunnottarcastle #stonehaven #visitmearns #scotland_insta #instascotland #historicscotland #beautifulscotland #visitscotland #scotland_greatshots #uk_greatshots #scotland_ig #scotland #scottishcollective #107of365 #visitabdn #nosmallcreator #igersaberdeen #igersaberdeenshire #epicukheritage #yourscotland #lovescotland #ig_scotland #goprotravel #abzolutely #epicukheritage #bbcscotlandpics #bucketshot #bucketlist (at Dunnottar Castle) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwW4NJbHDoT/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1cpf2f3itmyyq
