Being stressed out has a reaction on your body such as showing your insecurities and lack of confidence, this can make you a strong target if youāre in foreign countries. The key to happiness is to not stress about the things that are out of your control, but instead embrace them! Missing a train or bus wonāt be that bad, this just gives you the opportunity to explore more. Ā Just inhale a nice deep breath and remind yourself that it could be worse.
Early bird catches the worm
Usually sleeping in is something you would do whilst at home, but on vacation that is not really something that you should do. Just as the sun rises, the soft diffused light makes for great photo moments. The locals tend to be friendlier, and those scary areas you saw last night seem more approachable, and of course the criminals donāt roam in early morning.
Failing to plan is planning to fail!
When you start working on your budget make sure plan, money means power world-over! So having an extra bit of cash stashed away would be a smart move, but donāt place all your eggs in one basket hey! Ā If youāre stashing cash donāt use one spot. There are a lot of reasons and spaces to stash cash! Ā Remember youāre a foreigner in a strange country; you have bullseye placed all over you.
Meet the locals, greet them and sit with them. There are some weird cultures out there that we have to still explore. When greeting someone it is best to use a smile and be open with your body language. This makes your body more open towards conversion and socializing with their strange and out of custom culture.
Donāt neglect the simple things
A simple object can make a complicated task a simple one. Take a scarf, it can be a makeshift towel, or protection against the sun rays from a desert, or it can help with eye protection on windy days or help you carry something around. There are so many things you can do with a scarf. These little things we forget about could be the difference between surviving and struggling.
Donāt be a fool, backups are cool
If I hadnāt backed up most of my work whilst touring the world I wouldnāt have had all the notes and tips I took for these blogs I write, I wouldnāt have had anything to show for my trip. Donāt think that while youāre in another country the crime is any less from what youāve experienced in your country, there is still petty theft.
Donāt get your visa mixed up with the wrong people, I asked for a trusted visa service, andĀ Visa Compare was appointed to assist me with visa applications, they helped me find the ideal visa for my travels.
