Got this here message, and yeah; this is NOT something you should trust. Most "please join this group!" invitations are kinda shady, especially when it is so unspecific. What, exactly, was so "imaginative" or "impressive" about what I did? I'm not fishing for compliments, I just don't trust vague praise that could be copy-pasted to a thousand different things. The fact that first this group has 10,000 members (and counting), oh but is ALSO "tight-knit", isn't very believable either.
There is no indication that a real person read anything I wrote, because this isn't exactly how a real person interacts with somebody... and if it were intended as a "professional" message, it would be MUCH less vague. (a person who has a writing group and just wants to chit-chat would phrase it like that, and give you the chance to say if you were interested or not, before giving an invitation code or whatever. a serious message wouldn't drop a link/code like that either, but offer more info about what this MEANS). Anyway, don't trust stuff like this, and don't enter any codes/click any links when they seem shady
