Hi, I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if my comments offended you in anyway. I wasn't implying that Islamophobia or racism wasn't present. I was just trying to make a point that not everybody who is English/Western holds grudges against others based off of beliefs from however many years ago, and I certainly was not implying that I was speaking based off of experiences.
I mean it seems like you take more issue with British people being seen/labelled as racist than the people on the receiving end of it.
You keep talking about grudges. What grudges are you referring to? It’s not a matter of holding grudges, you act like we’re upset about something that happened thousands of years ago. We’re talking about things that happen TODAY. That post wasn’t about an incident that happened a long time ago, that was two years ago, and I assure you shit just like that happens all over Britain, all the time. These are things we experience on a daily basis, now, this generation, don’t act like Britain is this magical peaceful land full of tolerance and love.
If you’re so so sure that ‘not all British people are like that’ then SHOW US THAT. Stop derailing important discussions on Islamophobia and racism in Britain and DO SOMETHING to prove us minorities wrong instead of sitting there talking over us, insisting that we’re wrong and invalidating our experiences.
