I’m so amazed and inspired by and proud of all my athletes who committed to a virtual training program that lasted 19 weeks through a pandemic so that they can complete an ultramarathon that didn’t guarantee a marked off course, aid stations, race shirts, or medals. The only thing that was guaranteed was love - the love for the community and love for running. And when we love, we love unconditionally - we don’t expect to be love in return. But boy were we wrong… Take a look at everyone who came out to support all the runners today. Today was a great day. I’m so high on joy now and probably won’t be able to sleep tonight. If I do fall asleep, I’ll fall asleep in this new shirt I got.
