Here's a most interesting question. When Captain Gancena is in a game world, does she see all the characters as realistic flesh-and-blood beings or does her own physical appearance change to match the look of the game world? (ie: like that of a cartoon when she is in Pokémon or Mega Man, and a CGI model for more recent games.) -Some dork from up north.
That’s a very good question.
Gancena’s stylistic physical appearance doesn’t change between worlds, no. If this were the case, it would be noticeable and thus commented on.
As for what she sees, she definitely sees the flesh-and-blood beings you’re describing because that’s what they are in their homeworlds, and that’s what they are to her.
Even though there *is* a layer of game logic going in VCC, there’s also a layer of realism. Always.
