Trying to get back into a musical groove after a long hard grind in the working world. Thanks coffee, you're my bestest friend.
Having spent quite a bit of time with Bioshock Infinite in the last couple of months, I thought I'd play around with the musical theme surrounding Songbird. It was about time I played with the DPCM channel anyway.
Finally finishing a little something I started months ago. Was inspired by randomly screwing around with the Noise channel, and everything fell into place from there. Painfully slowly, but surely.
Only took me like a month. Totally on a roll.
One of my first originals, and my first jump back into Famitracker after a month away on adventures. I only had two things in mind when I composed this. One was wanting to see if I could get the 2A03 to throw out a nice crunchy beat. The other was a tale of two warrior comrades engaging in a meaningless honor duel for the favor of their lord.

A quick hack at one of Beethoven's Bagatelles from WoO 54. Taking the chance to play with the VRC6 chip to broaden my horizons. Happy, though, really sounds slightly more peppy and chipper to me.
So I've finally finished the very first major Chiptuning project I set out in front of myself almost a year ago. I've learned a lot about Famitracker, chiptuning, and music in general working on this.
Perhaps, most importantly, I've learned a great deal about the challenges inherent to trying to cover entire symphonies. Back to the adventure!
