               I believe it is because she was taken from the live she had as a child, with her mother killed in front of her, being married off to an old king when she was in her teens, she didn’t have a chance to ‘properly’ develop ways to learn how to cope with emotions and anxiety. Later in life she became very powerful with her magic, so no one dared to say no to her or say something about her ways in coping with things.

               Ingrid doesn’t believe in luck. It all sort of depends on how people view the situations she’s been in; she’s had bouts of good luck and bouts of bad luck and bouts of even worse luck. Mainly, her luck is tilted slightly towards the bad side; if asked personally, though, she would say that people make their own luck, and that it doesn’t depend on the universe around you and how much said universe hates you. It only depends on you.
