Because:

The Princess is supposed to show dignity, be serious and all… (She fails most of the time, and we all know that- )  … and then there's this Jester who just yaps to her - and she has to contain her giggles and just quietly mumbles, "We can talk later. In the garden. You know." or something like that x3

And the same goes for the Knight, augh- The Jester "annoys" the Knight, who rolls his eyes, but is actually invested. The Princess watches them, still trying to contain her giggles and smiles. The Jester quietly speaks: “The oldest Princess awaits us in the garden, at the usual time,” and winks at the Knight.

And then they meet at night in the garden - and shit goes down. The Princess is in her nightgown (The Knight probably brought a blanket or jacket because he knows-), the Jester wears a hat with bells on it that jingle way too loudly - because they move around too much in excitement. The Knight, still armed with a weapon (because he is devoted), takes the Jester's hat, so the bells quiet out. The Jester pouts at him, and the Princess wants to hold the hat - she almost begs for it in whispered noises - but the Knight knows she'll shake it just to hear the bells, so he declines, while both the Jester and the Princess pout.

And both, the Knight and the Jester, go like "SHHH!!" - because the Princess laughs and giggles way too loudly when they're together.

I'm going insane <3

*sighing* “What did you two do this time?”

*staring at the floor*

*looking around a whistling*

Paint, watching them with a drink in his hand: "Liar. We've been practicing this for days because you were 'afraid to mess up '."

El, eyes sparkling: "You guys praticed? For me?"

Vi: "Sometimes I wish Paint wouldn't open his mouth."
