How would the empress react to reader who likes to take care/adopte stray cats?
really interesting question. as i mentioned before, empress yujing does not like cats, so i think that she would see taking care of cats as like a task beneath the reader. at the same time, it would draw yujing in more because in her mind it demonstrates you can show compassion to the lowest of creatures. she would view you as selfless, but also foolish sinceno cat would ever bother returning the favor.
but after the empress takes you expect to lose everything. that includes any hobbies or anything that you care about. yujing wouldn't want you wasting your attention on other things anymore: your sole purpose is to be hers.
if you have like one special cat you love in particular or any other pet, expect to never see them again. she wouldn't kill them, that's far too cruel. she would just send them somewhere far, far away. to a place where they could never distract you from her ever again.
