It had only been 8 months but she felt she had drastically changed in that short amount of time. She may have still had issues with her confidence and self worth but she felt that she had grown to like herself just a bit more than she had originally. Yet, there was a looming sense of anxiety at the thought of seeing any of her siblings besides Rosalyn. She had briefly seen Loras when she had gone to Highgarden for a bit but that was the extent of their interaction

So when she saw Loras, the twinge of her heart racing slightly was evident but she kept her head held tall. Even if she wasn't confident she was going to act it. "Brother," she said with a curtsy, "it's been quite awhile since we last saw one another"

He had seen Jasper a handful of times in the past 8 months, but Jayse never enjoyed sitting still - he was always on the go but made sure to keep in touch with each other his siblings. Constant letters were sent along with little knick-knacks he had picked up along the way. "Brother!" he practically beamed as he pulled Jasper in for a hug, "it's been too long, Jasper, how have you been faring?"

He may have looked like just an average commoner based off the clothes he worse - them not being overly flashy and rather basic looking - but he didn't want to stick out. He knew the hungry money leeches looking for their next targets would see him in his flashy garb and try to take him for all he was worth. And it was rather well know in Redfort that he didn't care at all about appearances. To most he was simply Jayse, not Lord Jayse Redfort of Redfort.

"Alright, that's about it," he said as he placed one last box in front of the store shop and wiped his brow. "Have a good one," he waved as he quickly turned around to see his brother. "Oh - Jasper," he said, not expecting to see him, "I don't know what to say, what are you doing here?"

He stood there, the noble nearly a foot shorter than him berating him for bumping into him. If only this noble knew who Tyron really belonged to, the rumors being enough to send chills down a person who didn't know him's spine. But he stood there, and he took it, until he saw a hand being risen against him. Without missing a beat, he grabbed the noble's arm and bent it backwards, pinning him against the wall with a loud 'thud'.

"With the death of the ruling lady I advise you to not show such a disgusting side to yourself, my lord," he calmly said, grip tightening just until he heard a crack - then he let go, watching as he fell to the ground with a thud - a loud scream echoing the halls as maesters took him away to get healed. "I would say I'm sorry but he raised his hand first, I simply defended myself," he said as he turned around, expecting to be chastised for his actions

The thoughts were never-ending but Kylis did what she did best, put her own feelings aside and pretend like they didn't exist. She kept herself busy, mainly to keep the thoughts that plagued her quiet, but she was smart enough to know that once she stopped they'd hit her like a brick. But, for now, she was going to remain positive outwardly to avoid any criticism. "Lord Redfort" she smiled, "I hear congratulations are in order for your victory!" she beamed, handing him a small dessert, "consider it a present for winning"

She blinked a few times at the visibly drunk noble, spewing absolute nonsense, as another noble went to stop him and she put her hand in front of them. "I want to see how this ends," she said, wishing she had something to snack on. "I bet he gets punched," she mused to the person on the other side of her

She knew she was naive, very naive, but she was not dimwitted and it was obvious the drunken lord in front of her viewed her as such. Sighing, she looked around for any sort of relief, finding a passing lord and gently grabbing their shirt sleeve, offering them a pleading look.
