it's the autism

This is actually so sweet thank you so much mwuah!!

I am someone who gets very very invested in characters. Because of this, I have a tendency to try and analyze every aspect of said character, fleshing them out in my mind to make them feel more human and real.

I've done this with a lot of different characters in the past, but there's always something about Bo and his brothers that reels me back in. And now that I'm a bit older, I can look at them through both a critical and curious lens.

Wondering to myself; what similar experiences have we had in life, what kind of similar experiences could they have had to my parents who were born around the same time he was, what drives them to do the things they do, what are their relationships like off screen, what are their hobbies, what music do they listen to off screen, what do they do in their free time, etc etc etc.

Basically what I'm trying to say is; I always try to consider the things we don't see. But I always try to make it as in character as I can, considering their personalities and actions that we're shown, and using that to further flesh them out.

My past experience in the house of wax/slasher fandom definitely helps as well. I've been obsessed with this movie since I first watched it (fully) in 2017.

I know this might sound a little strange, but I started writing part three before the second part. This decision was made solely because I knew it i would have more fun writing part three at the moment. (it’s also a time skip chapter).

Not to worry, though, I have specific plans on what part two will consist of. Which will mostly be character building and fleshing out the relationship between Bo and the reader.

That being said, once part two is done, the third chapter will already be finished, so it’ll basically be coming out one after another.

I also like to take my time with my writing to make sure everything is perfect (to me), especially given the fact that these will be pretty lengthy. And also because I have a tendency to ramble in my writing, especially if it consists of very complex characters such as the Sinclair’s and the reader.

There is a second part to my most recent Daryl story that I have semi written. But at the moment I’m planning out a different fic, and I have another WIP.

OMG!!!! Thank you so so much! I'm currently writing chapter 4, hopefully that'll be out by next weekend if I'm able to get out of this little writer's block ditch I'm stuck in.

You have absolutely no idea how much this means to hear though, I'm so glad you're enjoying the story, and I hope you'll enjoy the chapters to come!

I absolutely love this show and all the characters in it, I've absolutely loved writing for Santiago so far and I plan to write for him more in the future. As well as other characters.
