{violent crescendo} clarke&lexa
A grunt escaped her lips as she came back into consciousness, head pounding as if someone was striking a mallet against her bare skull, where was she? The last moment she remembered was being in a field of green with a rather deep and mighty cough coming over her—then darkness. She couldn’t hear anything over the heartbeat that seemed to overpower any sound that entered her ears. When she tried to open her eyes a sharp pain caused them to shut again, vision being too blurred anyway to make anything of it, although she caught hazy hues of browns and ambers. Her fingers trailed against a barrier she could only describe as some sort of cot, perhaps she was in her own village? No—this place smelled foreign, unfamiliar to her senses, definitely not.
Lexa rose from the place she was laying down, a fit of nausea threatened to release from her mouth, so she instead moved more slowly. The walls that stood around her made for a good support as she staggered towards any sign of an exit, her fingers rubbing into the sockets of her eyes, trying to calm the fuzziness. That’s when she heard someone enter. Her eyes forced themselves open, even though her sight was going in and out of focus; she still managed to see a silhouette. Grabbing her knife out of the hilt she pushed the unidentified person into a wall, blade hovering above their neck. She spoke a few words in her native tongue, but they did not respond.
The pounding in her head subsided after a few moments. Her vision started to focus, puffs of familiar blonde hair revealing themselves, until she was met with eyes as blue as the sky. She sharply inhaled as the realization washed over her coldly. Once the person was identified she stepped back without hesitation.  Clarke? After the wave of shock, her face returned to the stone it usually wore. Lexa stood there in silence, eyeing the girl, she seemed off, lackluster almost. “Clarke of the Sky People.” She said with a convincing coldness to her voice, not really knowing what else to say.
