If there was one thing Lilith could actually say she appreciated about the one that had taken her place so long ago, it was this--Eve’s attitude. That little spunk, or whatever one wanted to call it. Not that she had much intention of showing it. Lilith didn’t exactly show trust, love, care--any of that--to many. It had caused ruin to too many and she’d watched it be the cause of destruction more often than not... 

But well... Eve did have a point. 

“But what makes you think he’ll even accept your loyalty? Trust it?” Lilith knew Lucifer would; of course the angel would. He’d take all loyalty he would ever find, especially ones like her. She started to stalk closer, hips swaying in that way of hers that she’d used on so many it’d become a pure habit by now. One Lilith didn’t even realize she did. 

“What makes you think I want it, my dear, sweet, Eve?” 

        EMBERS BURN RED FROM LILITH’S CIGARETTE   and eventually the woman herself comes out from gloomy surroundings. She is different. Not in the body she was created in but another, a frail, pointed body with sharp edges and protruding bones. She’s hid these aspects as best she can. With expensive clothes. With denial. But Eve-..... she’d know better then any wouldn’t she? 

“They told you I was bad for you, didn’t they?” A slow curl of Lucifer’s lips suggested the beginnings of a smirk was close. “That I can’t be trusted?” He looked closer at her. “And did you believe them, Eve?”

   𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒊𝒕, 𝒔𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒅𝒊𝒅 — but she snorted. It wasn’t that she didn’t like Eve, she did. Lucifer liked plenty of people well enough, enough to give them the time of day, in fact, and there weren’t many on this planet that could claim that honour. Even with those she seemed most open with knew perhaps only a quarter about her. She was private and guarded; the only person she loved was herself, because that was the only person she knew for sure she could truly trust. Most of the time.

“  are  we  speaking  in  terms  of  physical  or  mental?               because,  i  feel  pretty warm  right  now.  ”   delicate  fingers  trace  her  soft  profile,   ever  so  beautiful  as  the  day  he  first  say  her.  adam  knows  damn  well  he  shouldn’t  be  the  close,  but  these  two  are  bound  to  one  another.
