It had been years. Not as long as the last time she had dropped off of the earth, but still long enough to be cause for concern. Her kids knew she was alive, but most others didn’t. 

So she stood at his door, hesitating for longer than she was proud to admit before knocking and waiting for the door to open, a smile spreading across her lips.

"I don’t wanna be the one to point it out but I think your career is gonna be the least of your worries if you just fucking die.”

There weren’t a lot of people that Viola could think of that would be good to call in a situation like this, but Ash was, at the very least, someone she trusted. So she had text, trying to play it off as two old friends getting together for coffee. Vi was careful to choose a place that he would know that Azazel might not. After all, she didn’t really like talking about her pre-hell life and he didn’t really seem to mind.

Personal Head canon: Viola was around to teach her how to cope with her clairvoyance but wasn’t around much after that. She understands that her mom had made some bad choices in the past and it breaks her heart to know that those past choices make it so her mom can’t really be there for her. Because of this, she really clings to her dad.
