I had a crooked septum and it ended up rejecting and ripping the flesh all the way down :( Now I'm saving up for surgery... Please be careful. I'd take it out but if you don't, please please be careful :(
Hi! I now realize that I might have used the wrong word when I said it’s „crooked”…it’s honestly slightly asymmetrical (like it pulls to the left side a little if that makes sense?) and I think it might be due to my deviated septum OR that my jewelry is too big. I did some research and found that after the swelling goes down some people noticed it’s less asymmetrical for them. Thank you for the warning, I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve heard so many mixed opinions on this.

idk if this helps but my piercer told me if it gets crooked it's best to remove it and get it redone 6 months to a year later, i hope things get better for you!

as someone who had a crooked septum, you have to take it out and wait a year and get it redone, make sure you clean it like twice a day when you take it out though! (sorry its crooked ): hope this helps!)
