'One day I was temporarily embarrassed as far as finances go. I had three dollars-and that was to pay my gas bill. I couldn't find a place to park, and I didn't have a quarter to go in the parking lot, so I double parked my car, ran into the office, paid the gas bill, and rushed out-only to find a cop giving me a ticket. I quickly told him he couldnt give me one. "I didn't have a quarter to go in the lot," I said vehemently. He went right on writing me a ticket. Then I got mad and began to call him names. He calmly handed me the little slip and told me to sign it. I refused, point blank. So he said, "All right, we'll go to the police station."
