Lore Mastery: The Book of Gods - The Destiny Stone
Today TianCity officially started their own lore corner in their Weibo blog, and their first article is about the artifact that mercenaries mostly avoided during Season 2 in order to progress into continuation of Season 1 - the Destiny Stone.
Also known as the King’s Stone, it allows its wielder to manipulate the destiny of its holder. No one knows what does Destiny Stone look like and how it works, but this artifact has attracted the interest of Treasure Hunters of the Continent.
Destiny Stone becomes the key item in the whole Season 2 story, as our rookie mercenary (as well as newcomer Coffer Chaser) searches for the stone on his quest to change not only the fate of those who have been forgotten/fallen, but his/her own.
Little do they know, that the Destiny Stone is not only closer than they think, but doesn’t necessarily have the form of a stone...
As you guys may guess, this Destiny Stone had its twin brother in the real world, under the same name.
The Destiny Stone, is also referred to as The Coronation Stone, as well as the Stone of Scone in modern society of England.
The legend goes that every King of Ireland is required to stand on the stone to complete the process of coronation. This tradition continued until 500 A.D. Muirchertach mac Ercae was the last Irish King to stand on this stone.
There is a rumor that the Destiny Stone bestows protection, youth, as well as the ability to communicate with their ancestors upon the real Irish King, all in order to continue governing the country.Â
