A Question to MU Fans
Okay, I'm not trying to stir up any form of drama, but I need to ask all of you one thing. Now I understand that some of you don't really like (or even downright hate) Johnny Worthington from Monsters University and I can understand why you do.Â
But the way some people view him does baffle me. I do agree that he was a jerk in the movie and he was far from saint-like (ie: the Cute-Ma Kappa prank, talking down to Mike), but the vibe I'm getting from some fans is that they see him as a monster who's straight-up spiteful, vindictive, willing to harm anyone (and I mean anyone, be it nerds, cool kids, women, children, old people, his own frat brothers, etc.)Â without remorse, hesitation or provocation and will resort to doing anything malicious (such as cheating, sabotage and even bloodshed, let alone threatening someone with bloodshed) just to get his way.Â
Personally, I know that he was a prick in the movie. But I want your honest answer to this question:Â
Do you view Johnny as a spiteful/vindictive monster who would harm anyone physically/emotionally and resort to committing malicious deeds (ie: murder, cheating, sabotage) to get what he wants?
