And  then  promptly  forms  a  little  clumsy  hand,  flips  the  assailant  off,  and  vanishes  back  into  their  host  without  a  trace.  

              catching each of the baguettes, she looked at them in confusion before looking back towards peter. ' is this some type of attraction thing you american's do? what is with the bread? ' placing one on the table nearest to her yelena tore off the end of the other in her hand and popped it into her mouth. ' eh, it's a little stale, nothing a little garlic butter can't help. '

           she pauses for a long moment, pondering on the idea.                      ‘ smash, but only in your wildest dreams.’ 

              ‘ it depends on the day, when i first met you it was always at around an eight and i would’ve wiped the floor with you even with all that spidey stuff going on ’ she pauses, making a small humming noise as she thought. ‘ now it’s a weak five, you’ve grown on me and i don’t really want to hurt you that badly anymore. still would kick your ass though. ’

                ‘ i'm telling you - the guy was a complete stranger, just                                walked up and gave me the bag. ’

    "I MEAN... kind of? 'Cause I am!" Nope, definitely not fine. "Th- that's not, I don't even know who they are, so they probably don't even know anything about what... uh, what— happened." Peter definitely doesn't want to get into that ( nor does he want to admit the lingering anger either ). "We can, um- we can just drop this, actually!"

   "WOAH, woah, it's fine!” It’s not. “Don't— don't do anything, it's... I'm good." When has that EVER been true any time he says it? "I mean— I already practically got voted off, just not in a game and instead from the heroes that are mostly okay in the general public eye, so... it’s okay, the reference fits!”
