Can't stop me now || Rodolphus and Vincent
He twisted he wand slightly securing his grip before he turned to face the person who interrupted him. The man was slightly taller than him, with messy black hair, and large blue eyes. He looked as though he'd not had a proper nights sleep in ages. He was slightly taken aback by the deep gruff tone of the other man's voice.
"Lestrange, Don't. Move."Â
Rodolphus laughed, leveling the man with a harsh stare. "Well, well who would you be? You seem to know me but I don't believe we've had the pleasure." He taunted. "And I'm not sure who you think you are, but I don't believe that you are in any position to tell me what to do." He added, his tone overly smug. The other man pulled his wand out, casting something in Rodolphus's direction. He flicked his wand quickly, blocking the flash of light.Â
"I've got enough to put you in Azkaban for life right now, Lestrange. Don't make it worse."
Rodolphus laughed again, quickly blocking another spell that came his way. "I don't think I will, but you know it's only polite to introduce yourself to your guest." His smile was venomous. He assumed the man standing opposite him to be an auror, the way he spoke was almost enough to give it away. Rodolphus blocked another spell which came his way, realization flashing over his features, stunning spells. He quickly reacted casting his own spell towards the man, rolling his eyes as the man lunged away from the flash of green. Rod's eyes lit up as he saw an identification fall from the mans pocket, he stepped across the room to retrieve it. He smiled as his suspicions were confirmed. "Well, well it would appear that you are Mr. Vincent S. Blaire. Auror." He paused just long enough to side step out of the way. "Shame about what happened to your co-worker there. She just wouldn't talk, poor thing brought it on herself really." He glanced back towards the man, tossing the ID at his feet. "I wonder if you'll come out any better. Merlin knows those poor sods at the Leaky didn't." Rodolphus flicked his wand at the large bookshelf behind the auror, causing it to fall and easily pin the man to the ground.Â
"You were there weren't you? By the time I was long gone of course." Rodolphus confessed, as he crouched before the man, knocking his wand away. "How many did you fail to save? All of you? There was only one of me, and you couldn't compete with the damage and death. It's pathetic that you think you can compete with us, you think you can beat us but you can't. Just look around you! Your house is burning, your friend is dead and there is nothing that you can do to stop it. Nothing you can do to to stopme." He watched the rage grow across the man's face with every word he spoke, laughing as he coughed and gagged from the smoke filling his lungs.
"It'll be a miracle if you make it out of this alive, and all I had to do was knock over a bookcase. However, Mr. Blaire, I must take every precaution before I leave. See, I've just told you terrible things, and you've caught me here. On the off chance you don't survive I can't let you keep that information."  Rodolphus rose back to his feet, aiming his wand at the man, softly muttering obliviate. He let the soft glow of the charm last only a moment, before breaking the charm and tucking his wand away. "See you around, Mr. Blaire." He muttered before apparating away.Â
